Description
Dive into the depths of emotion with “Watercolor Head #4,” a captivating 5 x 7 inch watercolor painting. This highly expressive abstract portrait features a face emerging from a wash of cool blues, greys, and whites, giving it an ethereal, almost dreamlike quality. The artist masterfully contrasts these cool tones with striking, bold pops of vibrant red on the lips and warm yellow and orange accents around the eyes and nose, drawing the viewer immediately into the subject’s intense gaze. The fluid, unpredictable nature of the watercolor medium is on full display, with beautiful blooms, splatters, and bleeding edges that add a raw, dynamic energy to the piece.
